About Mrs. Adkins
There are some things you know about me–I’m a teacher, I’m married to Kyle, I’m Avery’s mommy, I love Michigan–but there’s a side of me you haven’t seen much of yet: the writer side. This page offers a glimpse of that often-hidden side of my self. Watch the video for more on Mrs. Adkins as writer…
Okay…so here are some of my works. All are in progress, as no work is ever truly finished. Critique. Ridicule. Enjoy. It doesn’t really matter, because I am proud of them, and as author, that is paramount. That being said, I do hope you like them!

Whats to Come…
Here are some pieces I’m formulating in my mind right now. I’m not sure when I’ll write them, or even if I’ll write them. I’m also not sure who my audience will be. I tend to think of myself as a writer of creative nonfiction–the kind of stuff (isn’t that a great English teacher word!) one would find in a magazine. Maybe someday I’ll be published, and you can say you knew me when I was just a lowly English teacher. Click here to see my proposals.
